About Rebecca
working in Benin West Africa with all my sweet onlookers. I am never alone in this type of work.
This little one would have died if the neighbors did not bring her to an orphanage we help in Liberia as an infant. All 6 siblings died of neglect from a mentally ill mother. She was rescued and is thriving today. If we did not help this home they would not have had the means to accept her into their home. Her name is Miracle which is quite symbolic.
These children were rescued from a life of domestic slavery. They are thriving and doing amazing today.
My husband of 23 years
Rebecca is the co-founder and President of the non-profit organization Orphan Relief and Rescue and author of an inspiring book published, Jan 2012. Along with her husband, Tim of 31 years she has invested more than 20 years in humanitarian work in both Central America and West Africa. While living in Africa, the plight of orphan children dramatically captured Rebecca’s attention. Since then, hundreds of children have been rescued through her and Tim’s efforts. Rescuing kids from horrific abuse and trafficking, and bringing relief from the needless suffering of children is where a majority of their efforts are focused on. Her passions are to end abuse and to inspire people to walk closely with God and make a difference for Christ wherever they are. She and Tim have three biological children, Seven grandchildren and many more children’ around the world.
